Members of the Norton-Wuori American Legion Post #61 visited the Phillips Elementary School today to talk with students about the significance of Veterans Day and the meaning of the proper way to fold a flag. Students completed papers telling about veterans they know as family and friends. Students were also able to talk with the veterans about the Table for One, which the 3rd and 4th graders have been studying in class. We at PES are grateful for all of our veterans who have given their time to protect our country and our freedom.
